Parking & Directions:

The Terrace at Hyatt House offers valet event parking for guests at $5.00 per car. Other parking options include the Ingot garage or street parking on 28th Street.

Payment Policies

Deposits and Payment: A 10% deposit is due along with a copy of the signed contract to hold the event date. The deposit amount is based on the reception and ceremony rental price. Bar package selection and final guest count is due two weeks prior to the event date. A final invoice will be sent at that time, and the final payment will be due preceding the event.

Service Charges and Taxes: an 18% service charge and 7% tax fee will be added to the final invoice.

Cancellation: In the occurrence of a cancellation, the 10% deposit will be forfeited. In addition, further money may be owed as outlined in the table below.

Procedures

Vendors and Catering: The Terrace works with six preferred caterers that we require you to use for your event. If you are in need of assistance for this process, the event staff can help with recommendations. The use of any other vendors is at the discretion of the client.

Alcohol Service: The use of alcohol at the venue must be provided by the Terrace at Hyatt House. Please refer to our bar package page for pricing and information. If you would like to substitute or amend any of the packages, we would be happy to work with you.

Event End Time: All Friday and Saturday events must conclude by 11:00 PM, with music and alcohol service ending by 10:30 PM. Events on any other night, must conclude by 10:00 PM, with music and alcohol service ending by 9:30 PM.

Hazardous Weather Policy: In the case of hazardous weather, The Terrace at Hyatt House may mandate certain procedures for the safety of the guests. This may include moving the ceremony under the tent or relocating the event inside the hotel until the weather conditions are deemed safe.
